Query in Tine

Poetry and Painting by Kasturi Borkotoki

Time to admire the azure sky

Time to see the birds fly high

Time to hear the cheery chirp

Time to laze or just sit up.

Each one alone as we came

Each to his own, mild and tame

Each to fend and fetch for game

Each for a world, never to be same.

Time stands still but rages fast

Time tests the mind, feared, aghast

Time tears, tends, mends the cast

Time will tell how long it’ll last.
